Originally, I am from Chicago. I have lived in Tucson since 1995. My wife Silvia and I have two children that are my pride and joy, James and Sophia. Whenever I have free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and cheering on the Chicago Cubs and the Arizona Wildcats. During my time at the University of Arizona I worked two jobs that couldn’t have been more different. During the day, when I wasn’t in class, I was a manager at McDonald’s. In the evenings, I produced the nightly sports show on NewTalk 790 KNST, and on game days produced the pregame/postgame shows for the Arizona Wildcat Network. This crazy schedule taught me time management skills and that hard work and dedication pay off. I am proud that I am the first in my immediate family to graduate from a 4-year university, but even prouder, that my sister will soon graduate from the University of Arizona. My biggest inspiration and role model has been my mom. She taught me many life lessons that I hope to pass on to my children. I have worked at the academy since 2007 and love working with students and seeing them gain new knowledge on a daily basis.

FAVORITE A-HA MOMENT:
When I found being passionate about something that I have no control over can make me either very happy or very depressed (cheering for the Chicago Cubs has aged me considerably).
