A CHARTER
HIGH SCHOOL
WITH HEART
SOUTHERN ARIZONA COMMUNITY ACADEMY (SACA) is a cutting-edge, tuition-free charter high school located in Arizona. SACA students have the option of studying on-site at our headquarters in Tucson, or attending SACA online from anywhere in the state. Online students also can come to campus for any
additional help or tutoring.
With a focus on developing students who are critical and creative thinkers who will be ready for a life of continued learning upon graduation, SACA provides a truly individualized education and curriculum with self-paced courses and flexible hours. The key component that sets SACA apart is our community. Our staff is a dedicated team working together to support each individual’s academic pursuits and their dreams well beyond a high school diploma. We also believe parents, grandparents and guardians are partners with us in each student’s growth and positive learning experience. As evidenced by our graduation ceremonies, these celebrations are such a personal tribute to each student who has achieved their goal of graduating from high school, now with a firm foundation, ready to soar to the next level of success.
SACA was chartered by the Arizona State Charter School Board in May 1999 as a public school. Further, SACA earned approval from the State to expand as an Online High School in 2014. Today, the Academy has succeeded as an alternative school whose mission is to prepare mature students academically as well as emotionally, with strength and fundamentals to carry with them their entire lives through.
