I’ve attended SACA for 2 years now. Every day at school for the past 2 years have been fulfilling. Staff who are just as avid in getting to know their students but also in the courses they teach. Considerate + understanding administrators who genuinely care about us. I remember feeling disquietude my first day here as all of us going to a new school but feeling the warmth + spirit from this small community encompass you, made me feel welcome. I am proud to be part of the SACA Eagle Family!

When I first came to SACA, I wasn't happy with who I was and I didn't believe in myself. The SACA family made me feel welcome and supported. They helped me find the confidence that I was struggling to have before. If I was struggling with things outside of school, they helped with that also. They have been there for me throughout my best and worst days. I do not know where I would be if I had not come to SACA. I will always be happy to have the opportunity of being a part of the SACA community.

My time spent at SACA was an amazing + rewarding experience. The teachers + staff are amazing individuals who guided me into independence + success + to this day I value everything I learned from them. They helped to shape the person I am today! 15 years later, I run my own business in downtown San Diego + I often find myself thinking back on the experiences + life lessons learned during my time at SACA. I am forever grateful to them + all the staff at SACA! Go Eagles!

SACA has given me the chance to realize my true potential as a student and as a person. The flexible hours allow me to manage my work on my own time without taking away the priority of getting it done. Plus, the clubs they offer provides a chance to meet my fellow students and learn about things I enjoy. I have been at this school for four years and I can honestly say it’s been the best years of my life so far. I'm so grateful for every staff member + student I've met!

SACA is an amazing school, especially for those who have failed some classes at other schools. We have so many good programs like YLM for instance…YLM stands for YOUR LIFE MATTERS and it helps me with my mental illnesses. The staff is so helpful and understanding. I just love the school in general. The kid and staff are so helpful, nice and caring.

I am able to work at my own pace. This school has so many people that are like my family.

I like SACA because it’s a self-paced environment. You don’t have as many distractions as a regular school would have. You can get one on one help with the teachers. There is great communication between the staff and the students. They prepare you for college so when you get there you have an idea on what to do.

Why I love SACA!! I’ve been here at SACA for almost a year. I love it here for so many reasons. I love how caring and nurturing the environment is. The teachers and staff all care about your wellbeing as well as encouraging you to excel in your studies. Everyone here is so incredible and helpful and I’ve made some friends that I know I’ll cherish forever.

I have been with SACA for 3 years. I am one of the first faces the students see in the morning and it’s my chance to sprinkle a little “sunshine” on each one of them. You never know what anyone is going through, so to give a kind word or a smile is worth more than gold. I get to help mentor our YLM (Your Life Matters) group once a week raising awareness for suicide prevention. If I can help one student, I believe my day is well spent. And SACA creates an environment for this to happen every day!
